TECHNICAL FEATURES
- The internal roller has two heavy duty springs that each increase the total load from 20kg to 60kg while the awning extends so that the fabric is always under tension.
- The durable Kevlar drive tapes are rated to 230kg resistance.
- Wind rating up to 38-49 km/hour.

Awnings can be fully or partially extended for flexibility of use whilst always maintaining the fabric under tension.

FABRIC
Aluxor uses a range of acrylic, PVC and mesh fabrics from leading European manufacturers. Acrylic fabrics are best suited for Sundream Awnings and are available with self cleaning and water resistant properties.
A large selection of plain, pattern, block and self stripe, tweed and fleck finishes are available.
PVC mesh fabrics with openings of 86%, 93% and 96% can also be used for smaller size awnings.
Sundream CONSERVATORY AWNING
A versatile and robust conservatory and pergola awning
The Sundream Conservatory Awning is a sunshade system especially designed for mounting above glass roofs or pergolas, to stop sun and heat before they reach the interior of your home or workplace.
It is a highly versatile and robust awning which runs in sturdy aluminium guiderails that are designed for durability and maintenance free operation.
The front bar is driven by powerful tie rods with the guide pulleys being made from high strength synthetic resin. The guided motion prevents the front bar from getting jammed or snapping out of the guiderails so ensuring a smooth operation.
The internal roller houses two heavy duty spring units that are increasingly loaded while the awning extends so that the cover is always being kept under tension, ensuring it rolls in and out smoothly.
Awnings can extend to 6.5 metres wide and 6.5 metres in projection (limited to a total of 39m²) with coupled units extending up to 24 metres wide to a total of 120m². All awnings are motorised and powdercoated to your choice of colour.

Sundream MAXIRAIL
An integrated pergola frame and retractable sunshade solution
Where there is no existing pergola for mounting the Sundream, for sizes up to 36m² an integrated post and rail system is available incorporating heavy duty guiderails, front mounting posts and cross rail and fixings to secure the headbox to a wall structure.
The spring tensioning system provides optimum fabric stability when the awning is retracted and extended. If the awning has sufficient pitch, it may also be used as a light rain cover.
The heavy duty extruded aluminum guiderails are 3.0mm thick, so enabling adequate loading capacity over a 6500mm projection without any intermediate mounting posts.
The MaxiRail system is fitted with additional intermediate cross supports for larger awnings. A light rain gutter and additional back posts are also available.

Sundream COMPACT
The discreet sunshade cover
For smaller areas up to 20m² the Sundream Compact range is the ideal retractable sunshade cover. With the headbox cassette at only 145 x 163mm and slimline guiderails at 52 x 32mm, the discrete design of the Compact is perfect for fitting to a timber pergola or steel frame structure.
The Compact uses the same operating mechanism as the Sundream, with heavy duty springs and tubular motor housed inside the cassette and Kevlar drive tapes extending and retracting the front rail, with the tension on each spring increasing from 7kg to 25kg during extension.The carriage design and pulley mechanism allows the front rail to align with the guiderail ends when fully extended, adding to the contemporary design and finish.
The Compact is also offered with the ZipFast and Cubix Teleskopic features.

Sundream ZIPFAST®
Optimise your shade cover
Built of the design of the Compact range, the ZipFast model uses a larger guiderail profile at 69 x 55mm, with the fabric extending into a PVC channel housed in the guiderail to optimise sunshade protection and eliminate any gap between the fabric and extrusion.
The ZipFast design ensures both lateral and side fabric tension is optimised.
Awnings can extend up to 6m in width and 5m in projection, up to 20m², and is suitable for bottom, side and top mounting to provide flexible installation options.
All awnings are motorised and powdercoated to your choice of colour.

CUBIX™ TELESKOPIC
Shade with flexibility
The Cubix has all the features of the ZipFast, with a contemporary cube-shaped headbox that can also be integrated with Teleskopic front posts to adjust the angle of the awning to assist with water run-off in light rain.
The headbox is fitted to a wall or other structure with brackets that can pivot as the front post height is adjusted so allowing The Teleskopic post to tilt the fabric to a front corner and allow for water drainage when adjusted to a minimum inclination of 15°.
Available in widths up to 6m and projection to 5.5m, maximum area 20m², where larger size awnings may be fitted with an additional fixed crossrail for fabric support or to stabilise the front posts.

Sundream STEER-AROUND
For a change in direction
A special feature of the Sundream is the Steer-Around option whereby the awning direction can be changed one or more times at any angle up to 90°.
The flexibility of the Steer-Around design makes it ideal for pergola structures where overhead projection is required as well as a vertical screen to protect from early morning or late afternoon sun.
The cast aluminium angle sections are customised to the desired angle, enabling the Sundream to extend horizontally before extending to become a vertical shading or to traverse up and over an A-frame glass conservatory.
